Human Resources

Our Human Resources Manager will:

  • Develop and implement a best practice company policy and procedures across a range of HR matters, ensuring employee and company adherence
  • Develop and implement a strategy to hire people over the distance in order to ensure a quick grow our remote team
  • Oversee all HR initiatives, systems, and tactics
  • Manage both online and offline employee record keeping and agreements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employment relations, supporting employees in various HR related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required
  • Oversee delivery of on-boarding and off-boarding processes ensuring a consistently high standard of delivery
  • Oversee the execution of Wisdom performance management process, tracking completion rates and guiding Managers on effective goal setting and delivery
  • Oversee talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Work closely with our Senior Management team to provide training & development initiatives to our employee base
  • Report to and advise the CEO by analyzing data and using HR metrics
  • Manage internal communication projects and Employee Surveys


Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of HR experience in conference production industry (in multiple HR functions including but not limited to employee relations, talent development, talent review, and succession planning, employee engagement, performance management, and talent acquisition)
  • Proven expertise in developing partnerships with leadership and influencing key business decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage human resources at both the strategic and tactical levels.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities in the conference production industry:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles
  • Organized and process-driven, with an eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
